- Trail Conditions: some gnarly sections, lots of quick, steep ups and downs, log hops, bridges, great variety
- Technical Level: for the most part, the route we took was advanced
- Whoops, Yikes, and Oh Sheets:
- nice Oh Sheet endo by Manny, too fast over a log hop
- a literal "Oh Sheet" by Bob into some water
- a Whoops by Matt on a hellacious root infested up hill grade
- a Whoops by OMMB when hooking a tree and flop to the side (push up save)
- GPS Track:
Notes: I joined the guys in a pre-ride of the 8 mile course they will race at Burlingame this Sunday. It's a technical route, especially the first few miles, but there's plenty of flat and downhill areas to get your pace up again. Although a bone masher, I enjoyed the loop, more so than someone did (I won't mention any names Bob, whoops). Honestly, I would not want to ride this as fast as possible, there'd be hell to pay (and medical bills). Good luck guys!
Tidbits: Nice campground at the race finish line, may want to stay there sometime; maybe "watch" a bike race!
